My daughter bought me some lovely scented candles, and i am wondering if it is ok to use them in the same room as my indoor guineas,if they are not too close to them.

We've talked about using essential oils on light bulbs to give a room some fragrance. Not sure if that is 100% safe though.

I don't use candles my Dad would go ape as he thinks they burn down the house! I do like them though or that airwick thing that puffs out stuff only thing is it makes me jump everytime it does it! 98) ;D

All of these candles/air fresheners are made from chemicals which could be harmful to humans.I do not have them in my house, and would not use them anywhere near my pigs.

I definitely would not use them near any piggies. GPs have ultra sensitive noses and we just don't know what harm these chemicals could do.

No I never useed them in my house when pigs are indoors. Kinda odd that when I did spray the day later Cuzzy became ill. Now pigs have their own barn I can use them but don't because they are chemicals so prefer a bunch of flowers! ;D

Thank you all for your replies.I don't want to do anything to harm my girls.
Do you think it would be ok to use them upstairs in the bathroom, with the door closed,as they are downstairs in the living room? 98)
