Can anyone recommend some piggy weighing scales that plug in? Mine take 3xAAA batteries and despite only using them for about half an hour once a week the batteries only last about 6 weeks, no piggy weight checks today because the batteries in my scales have gone again! Luckily my only piggy weight concern at the moment is "blimey you guys all look chubby, I hope that's just your winter fur growing in or we're banning carrots" :) but I hate generating battery waste and always fishing about in the drawer for batteries...

I use these, the battery lasts ages. It's like a huge watch battery. But they are a pain in the butt, if you press on just slightly too hard, they got to different settingsView attachment 122995

I bought these for the girls about 4 or 5 yrs ago. They have a large button cell battery (2032 or 2016 type) I think I've replaced the battery once since new.
The girls are happy to get on them and munch away too! They were some cheap ones on offer in Argos, think they were about £8.x

Looks like the ones most similar to mine are the £12 digital scales in this catalogue, not on offer at the moment :(
