Hey , I just noticed my guniea pig has a scab near his bottom it’s not affecting him he doesn’t cry or anything when I touch it so I’m wondering if it could be another scan from his brother I noticed they did fight a couple of days ago or something else ?

I’m afraid we can’t speculate - particularly sight unseen - on what it might be or its cause. (Except if it is in the middle but low down on his back end, then are you sure it isn’t his grease gland?)
All we can advise is if you are concerned then to see a vet - a scab could be due to a fight (please see next paragraph), a burst cyst, parasites etc.
You can add a picture to this thread and we may be able to assist but we cannot diagnose anything.

If you have seen your piggies actually fighting and enough to cause injuries to each other (ie something more than normal dominance of mounting, chasing, rumbling etc), then sadly that means their bond is not a functioning one and they should, unfortunately, be permanently separated. I did see that you posted a few weeks ago about them potentially injuring each other so if you are finding more wounds then I would be concerned about their bond.

Thanks I tried to take a picture but he wouldn’t stay still for it his old one is healing as well as the scan feels like it’s going to come off anytime

Also is there any other signs of it was a parasite or mites that I should look for he doesn’t have a bald patch there (he’s also shedding a bit and his brother ) and he also acts like his normal self eating and drinking and playing his brother is fine too

It’s not just parasites, it’s also the potential for fungal infections.

Scabs from scratching, bald patches, eggs in the hair, shedding, sore areas etc can all be signs but you also can’t rely that the absence of certain things as totally ruling them out.

We can only advise that you should have a vet check carried out.

And also, if you have seen them actually fighting and that these scabs are injuries as a result of that fighting, then they should not be in the same cage as each other any longer.

If it was mites I would expect it to be worse by now and spreading? There Are no other areas with scabs, red balding skin?
You really need a vet check if you are concerned.
