My hutch I have now is a 3ft 2-storey and my pigs don't use the the ramp (tried everything) to the bottom (which is a run so cannot be used on wet days) therefore they're stuck in the top part which is waaaayyy to small! I dont think the one I have now is bigger than this one at all!
Is that the one I showed you?
It is much better than the pets at home one you said about.
Does it come with a cover?

Does it come with a cover? I would recommend getting one if it does.
Yes this is the one you showed me! (thanks by the way) Nope it doesn't come with a cover but will I really need one? They're brought inside in winter so the hutch won't be out in the snow/cold.
Oh, that makes sense as two storeys are quite big. I thought they used both storeys but obviously not My boys use the ramp. How long have you had the hutch?
Just in case it rains you should put tarpuline over it It blocks the worst of the wind as well
Had the hutch since I got my pigs (3/4 years ago).
Ok I will (if I can find some tarpuline)

Haha! I guess some pigs just don't like ramps! Bubble went down it at first but now even she won't!Woah! That's so weird that they won't go down the bottom! :{ My boys got used to it the first week, they were wary at first but then with a bit of their favourite food, they were used to it!
It'll be cheaper than the fancy covers anyway! Does the same thing, just the cheaper option
In that case no you won't. I was thinking it would be outside all year around like mine is. They are normally cheap on there compared to P@H too, (which is the main reason I asked) but you won't need one.
I have a tarp for mine and am getting a few others things to cover it too.

Definatly be cheaper! Can't believe how expensive some covers are!
Yeah, I know! They do a good job but all I need is tarpuline in the summer and then they're bought in the shed in the winter so I'm sorted
Ok will defo look for some tarpaulin on eBay!
Okay, you do that Mum and Dad already had some tarpulin in the shed so I just kind of nicked that :x
Hehe! At least you've put it to good use!
Only ever had a slug once and scared me to death! I went out in the morning to feed and water them and there was this giant slug in the hutch! Scarrryyy...Yeah, totally! All it was doing was just sitting there waiting to be used Mum just uses it for craft stuff she does and that's all she did with it. It's a bit skanky now that it's been outside, you know, paint stains and slug poop...>>> Do you ever get slugs sometimes in your hutch?
