Sand bath

Hi, I’ve seen online a sandbath which is made of Timothy hay and includes soft sand. It has a picture of a hamster with it, but is this something Guinea pigs could use? Just it advertises that it’s a natural way for small animals to clean their fur and helps rid of grease. I have a boar who’s grease gland is particularly greasy and just wondered…

Sand bathing is something hamsters and chinchillas do, not piggies

Sand baths are meant for desert animals.
Also I had that rosewood thing, it's tiny. The sand is really dusty and will cause resp issues.

No, this is more of a chinchilla/hamster/degu/gerbil thing. They will roll around in sand. Guinea pigs don't have that sort of behavior.
