safe shop bought treats?

so i know a lot of shop bought treats are not the best choice for our piggies but before i bought my girls home and i didn’t know what i know now i went a bit mad buying treats (i knew to avoid seeds, yogurt, corn etc) and so was just wondering if its best to chuck them out now or if they ones i bought are safe and a good choice? if these are okay to use, should i be worried about the calcium content (after della having a bladder stone) or are they generally going to be safe?

It depends on what the ingredients are, but they look to be dried forages mostly, so should be ok.
The hanging wheel and hanging sticks - they might be ok but again, depends what the ingredients are.
For information, dandelion is a bit higher in calcium
If I was going to give them (ingredients list dependent) then it might be best to remove the strings and just lay them in the cage

Post the ingredients list on here and we can take a look.
I feed my lot some forage daily. Some things shouldn’t be given as much as others though.

The only one to avoid is the one that contains hemp and linseeds.
It does depend a bit on how they are included (whole or crushed) but in general guinea pigs really shouldn't have anything with seeds.
If nothing else they can get caught in their teeth.

brilliant thankyou! i didn’t actually realise that one contained seeds! ill have too look at the packet again, i doubt they’d be full seeds as i wouldn’t have bought it!

the wheel and swing is obviously a bigger treat rather than individual little ones so should i be only leaving it in the cage for only a hour or so a day? the little ones i’ll be okay feeding once a week a few bits each i’m assuming? sorry i don’t want to be giving them too much!
