Hi all,

I need to upgrade my lawnmower. As I have a large lumpy, bumpy lawn I was considering a petrol mower. I have to keep the lawn tidy as part of my tenancy agreement and the piggies don’t munch it fast enough. 😂

My concern with a petrol mower is potential contamination of the lawn with fumes and any leakage and the danger that could pose for subsequent piggy grazing.

What are your views on this? Is a petrol mower too risky?

My battery one can’t do the whole lawn in a single charge and it takes me several days to do front and back lawns. It drives me nuts. The other option is a corded mower but I’d have to have an extra long extension lead due to living in an upstairs maisonette with no socket downstairs.

I have battery operated but I bought an extra battery as it takes two to do the whole lawn.

I have two batteries that last 20 mins each but I have a large, lumpy and hilly lawn. I think tackling the uneven ground takes up a lot of juice.
