I have 2 boys which have been together for almost a year. One seems sad, just staying in the house most of the day and I think the other one is just not letting him do anything. He was always very soft and gentle but now just lets the other one do anything to him. Its almost as if he is depressed and given up. He even just stands when the other 1 jumps on him and I have to put food into the house because when he comes out the other one just chases him back. He isnt ill because he looks physically well and eats well when I'm there to stop him being bullied. He is so sweet and I hate to think him being bullied all day. I did try to remove the naughty one and kept him separate overnight but the quiet one seemed no better and then I worried he may be fretting. I just dont know what to do for the best. Any advice please?

Aww poor little man  :(
I had the same thing last year with Huxley & Hamish, Huxley "intimidated" Hamish & would try to stop him eating by running from 1 bowl to the other & would trap him inside a pigloo & lay across the entrance to prevent him moving.
I separated them with a mesh divider between, Hamish didn't seem any different for a while because he could still see Huxley but he soon realised Huxley couldn't get to him but they could chat at the mesh, both boys are happy living their single lives  :)

Hi, thanks for advice. I think it will come to me separating them and its a good idea to keep them close for company without them being able to harass each other. I will try and sort something out tomorrow when I get in from work.
