Sad News

Hi,
I hope I'm not upsetting others by posting this news but I wanted to express my sadness at losing Cher.
Some of you may remember her story,she was a very small guineapig and she had a really difficult time early this year.She did however pick up for a while and had a happy healthy few weeks with her sisters .Unfortunately she suddenly went down hill and this time the vet diagnosed a serious blockage ,so I have had to let her go.I will miss her so much she was such a dear little thing.

I have 9 others but I have to admit she was a bit of a favourite, the vet let me stay with her ,almost to the end so I hope she new she was loved.In the grand scheme of things I know she was 'just a guinea pig ',but as a guinea pig lover, she was special, as they all are to those of us who are guinea pig owners .Thankyou for your kind words

I'm sorry you didn't get more time with her, sometimes those little packages that are with us for the shortest time leave the biggest print on our hearts. I'm sure if she could she would thank you for the care and love and happy time you gave her. Travel well little lady

I am so sorry you had to go through through this heartache with Cher. They are never 'just a guinea pig' they are, as we all know, part of the family and losing any one of them is so very hard. To have to make the decision to help her go to the rainbow bridge is the final act of the love you can give yet it is so very hard. Sending hugs

I'm very sorry for your loss. Loosing a loved piggy never means loosing 'only a guinea pig', it means loosing a family member and friend.
