My little girl is not right, I had the chance yesterday to handle the girls and have a good health check , well i have a skin issue going with the girls and rusty keeps laying down and seem to be very large and sloppy, to begin with i thought it was thought it was bloat so i had a feel and i can feel some lumps, i think she has some cysts :(.

But this flopping down on her side has got me puzzled, she is happy enough but her legs are at odd angles?

what do you think?

she is by no means suffering she is Happy to be held and purrs until i touch her tum then she warns me with a tooth chatter

My guinea's back legs go at odd angles but she is old and think she has degenerative bone disease. Don't worry too much. My guinea is covered with lumps due to her age. There's no harm in getting them checked out by a vet. There is another link on the forum where a guinea is being treated for ovarian cysts by injections I think. Maybe reading that might help you. Fingers crossed for you and rusty xx

hoping rusty gets better and the girls skin heals up real soon :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: i would get her checked out at the vet in case it is something serious O0 what is this purr everyone has talked about as none of our piggies have done a noise anywhere that sounds like a purr. they rattle, teeth chatter, squeak and that's it. :'( :'( :'( sending hugs and healing vibes for rusty and the girls :-* :-* :-* the girls send :-* :-* :-* our late rosie 0:) use to sing like a bird but no purring. :tickedoff:

I would get her to the vets if the skin issue is a fungal problem it can affect more than their skin if it becomes systemic.
Hope ahe is doing ok :smitten:

I'm sorry to hear about your little Rusty, healing wheeks and piggie kisses being sent :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

I would get Rusty checked by a vet, especially as she reacts when you touch her tummy.
