I have noticed where the piggies have been biting the cage as the cages are next to each other, so they try and get to the others, its gone a bit rusty from where they have biten the paint off and looks kind of rusty - is there anything i can do to respray or anything? though i heard it's quite hard respraying metal especailly if they will keep biting the cage...thank you.

Get the pigs out of the cage, rub the rust off with some sandpaper and re-paint it again OR
cover the area up.

On the C & C Cage I used nailpolish to stop the rust and the piggies chewing on that spot....it worked, they didn't like the smell or the taste of it.

Personally I would brush the rust of but wouldn't repaint or use nail varnish just in case the piggies eat it. I would worry that paints and nail varnish could be quite toxic.

thanks for your advice - dont think i will do that with the nail polish though, doesn't sound too good for the piggies!

I might just try sanding the rust off and leaving it like that.

thanks!
