hello! it's me again, hope you're all doing alright :luv:

You know my partner and I are a little worried. Yesterday our little girl Cremi has started teeth chattering, chasing and even pounced our "alpha" sow Cocoa. We are kind of sad because those two were the bestest friends, ate together, slept together, groomed themselves side by side. Moka has also been mounting Cremi.

Cocoa and Moka are both around 1 and a half years old, while Cremi is no older than 8 months. I read the guides yet still have some doubts, is this just a teenager phase? should we worry? should we separate them?

thanks, take care everyone!

Don’t separate them but instead watch and see if things settle back down. She could just be in season and getting hormonal and she may calm down if the dominant tells her off, but if she is going to try to take on the dominant piggy and things escalate then that is when you will need to rethink.

The issues persisted today (it's been 3 days so far), today I saw Cocoa yawn at Cremi, I read about that in the "fear-aggression" guide so I'm kind of worries but also confused about what could be causing this, could it be that Cremi wants to surpass Cocoa in the hierarchy?
