Hey, I'm very worried as I woke up today and saw that my guinea pig has runny nose. Other than that he seems normal.

Should I just watch him or go to vet as soon as possible? 😭😧

After an hour it stopped, everything seems okay for now, but I'll keep watching and update if something is wrong again.

Do you know what caused it?

I always go on if you're unsure go to the vet. A vet would rather see a healthy piggie with an anxious owner rather than an ill piggie with an owner who has left it too late. I took Betsy to the vet cos she had lost 170g of weight in 3 weeks with hardly any other symptoms and the vet gave her a thorough examination and said he thought she had a UTI and she is on Baytril for another couple of days. So take her to the vet for a check up and see what s/he says it is. It never does any harm to get piggies health checked anyway. It will be peace of mind for you if nothing else.
