Running around full speed! For 5 mins straight!

I am trying to video a certain behavioural thing that my two seem to do, I have never heard of it before and it just explaining it just doesn't do it justice, it cracks me up every time they spaz out. My other two Guins before these never even slightly done this but these two do...

Basically 3-4 times everyday, they start popcorning, but sometimes it elevates to the running at full speed around and around their cages, for about 5 mins. They jump between the two cages (They are joined by a bridge) run up the ladder, around the mezzanine floor, through the tubes, and back down the other ramp. Then around and around the cage again! Then they bump into each other and freeze. Then they just stop...

...It's CRAZY...

Any suggestions?

my two do it too!

they wear themselves out after 3 or 4 mins then flop on top of their cosy tunnel and veg out lol


they are like whirlwinds tearing round in circles of their cage, popcorning into the sides at times and sawdust ends up everywhere but they make me laugh soooooooooooo much

i'm sure they chill as they get older x

It completely CRACKS me up when they collide into the wall, then stop and look confused wondering what crashed into them...

If I knew sooner I would have called them Free-run, and Parkour...

My first two never done it, which is weird... Maybe it's because they are completely comfortable with our presence, the other two used to be a little timid.

My little one does that, he's like the road runner! I never realised just how fast they could move He does it when they come out of the hutch for floor time, he just has so much energy to burn. I wish i had been introduced to Guinea pigs sooner, they are so funny!
