Run outside with no grass

Hello, I’m after some advice. We are going to be moving house and the back garden doesn’t have any grass at the moment, it is all paved. What would you recommend I put down for the guinea pigs in the run outside?

*They have a 2 tier hutch also.

Something soft on the floor, either fleece with something absorbent underneath or hay

Would you put something like puppy pads down underneath the fleece? Xx

Yes
Obviously they can’t be in the run when it is raining, but as it is on paving then you’ll just have to watch that it isn’t too too hot for them. The fleece will ensure they aren’t directly on a cold surface, but also paving tends to just bounce heat back so do keep a close eye on them

No I never put them out when it is raining or in direct sun. I always put them in shade. Thankyou for your help x
