Run cover

I bought this run, but need to buy a cover for it for when the boys are outside. Recommendations would be much appreciated.
 
I'm not too sure i'd use that outside to be honest. Prefer wooden ones for guardian as they are more predator proof
 
... and I'm a fan of the runaround system - as they come with covers and are predator proof .


@Siikibam - are you looking for a cover for shade ? .... or protection ?


I bought some groundsheets from poundland today - which I will be using as shade sails .

Thats what I had to do last year "here come the girls one day" and "the boys are back in town the next"
 
I have a metal collapsible run but it anchors into the grass for safety and comes with a cover for the top to stop predators but to be honest it’s still a bit flimsy. I never put mine out unless I’m there to watch them. Good excuse to sip tea, read a book and watch piggies.

Here are my two runs joined together. They can't have it like this all the time as it depends on grass growth! At least they can all get out on the grass every day now though instead of every other day.

I’m lookong at buying this run but I’m a bit confused with the top. In the photos on the website it shows that the top can come completely off? If this is the case does it clip onto the run or just kind of rest on top? Could it just be knocked off?
 
It just rests on the top. I got the cover with it too and that goes over the top and clips down the sides and this prevents it from being knocked off. I can't imaging it could be knocked off anyway.

I have a metal, opened top run. I peg a sheet over the top of it for shade.

I only use it when I sit out with them all the time, which isn't often as they hate the great outdoors!
 
Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I want something for protection and shade. I’d rather not buy another run at the moment. I always sit out with them when they’re outside though it would be nice to leave them and get on with other things. I’ll see
