The girls are in a Rabbit 120 and Henry is in a Mary? 100 cm until the op. I am then planning to cut a hole in the 120 (its on a stand) run a ramp to the floor and do a C and C cage underneath.

That aside I need an indoor run, I have used the rainbow coloured hamster run - Henry can knock it over and I swear has told Sophie how to do it cos she was having a go at it the other day. I also have the fabric one but think it is a bit small to be honest, no bigger then their cage.

Ideally I would love to have the run set up all the time in the conservatory, and have a run with rigid sides.....

I could use the c and c grids I guess? I could cable tie them together in lengths and then just put it together at the corners each day?

What do you think?

thanks

To be honest, I like to think that an excercise run is bigger than there living cage and it sounds like the cage they will be living in will be bigger than say the first run you have posted at 3ft by 2ft.

Does it need to have a lid on it? If not, for example if you dont have other animals or small children that you dont trust I would purchase a open top run so it is easy to get into.
Buy one big enough so that you can put in lots of enriching toys in. Tunnels, Paper bags boxes, houses.
Look for the fold away type that are much more flexible with moving around. What size is the space you have?.....

C&C grids come in very handy and I have used them lots of times to partition parts of my room off, I then let them have a run of the whole room knowing they carnt get to anywhere that could be hazardous

Or something like this might suit you?

How long are you keeping your boar in a Mary? It's a hamster cage. If he's being neutered he will still need to be kept seperate for a further 4-6 weeks.

Salt and Pepper, where did you get the pic of the wooden hexagon run? that would be good as an outdoor one

Right after much deliberation and measuring I have decided to buy a new smaller desk so that the Guinea pig cage fits flush against another wall, this will give Henry a bigger space (than the girls :red) under the cage and in front, giving room for the toys I bought.

run wise I will use the metal one I currently have outside and buy the one from Zooplus for the garden. The metal one is fairly easy to fold up - it is not huge but I can (hopefully with more rearranging) use the wall as one side and section off part of the room.

thanks for the help x

Is that cage (link above) any good for 3 -4 guinea pigs?

Is there an indoor cage that can hold 4 guinea pigs?

The rabbit 120 has got a split in it which was ok until I put it on the stand - it has now started get worse. Its so annoying, it happened in the post when it was sent to me - ordered on line and the seller was very rude so I never returned it/got a refund. It has been fine on the floor - there was no pull on it and I could probably fix it with some super glue. However I am looking for the girls+henry their forever cage.

Any how the long and shot of it is I need a new cage........... All suggestions welcome!
