Rumple prowling round New Guinea house !

I have a huge enclosure 7ft x 6 ft built in my "joined to the house" garage where my 2 boys live. I have different levels of accommodation and hidey holes and hay boxes. Every week the enclosure gets a full scrub out and I rearrange their enclosure to stimulate them . Each time when they return they purr and usually do this kind of prowling walk with the bottom swaying . It stops quite quickly and pop Corning happens . I was wondering what the " prowling" means . I'm guessing dominance but not sure ...! They are both 2 year old males !

My 2 boys do the exact same thing every cleanout. I think they are trying to establish dominance with the rumble strutting because the home does not smell familiar to them. Once they've explored everywhere and realised that they are indeed back home they popcorn out of joy and poops follow immediately.
