Hi Guys

I've noticed over the last couple of weeks Dudley has become much more loving towards me (hes always been affectionate but more so now), he seems to respond more to me that my partner and will always follow me into rooms etc.
When I'm on the floor talking to him and giving him a stroke I've noticed he starts slowly wiggling his bum and making low rumble noises (ive seem you talk about it as rumblestrutting I think?). when I start scratching he will move towards me so I end up scratching the top of his bum.

Is this a good or bad thing as theres no aggresion in it?

My sow does this, and espechially with the wiggly butt scratch thing! I really don't think it's aggression, my sow is the snuggly one of the group and she is the main one for it. I don't know whether its good or bad but aslong as the piggie is happy I suppose! X. X

When two pigs are rumble-strutting at each other, they tend to turn their bums towards each other and sway, making themselves look quite big, so its all to challenge and try to out-dominate the other. Boars also do this when courting females, same reason but requiring a different outcome :p

It could mean anything when you're scratching him, but it's not something you need to worry about, my pigs do that to me as well. They'd still do it even if they had a life of luxury as its all hormonal which can't be controlled in animals so it's perfectly natural :)
