I have two male piggies. They have been living together for about 5jsh weeks!

While sitting with my guineas today I noticed one of them has been rumblestutting(?) I think it's called? He was lifting one leg up at a time while shaking his hips, close too my other guina!

Is it good? Bad? Do I leave him to do it? Is there anything I need too do?

I've never seen this kind of behaviour before in my piggies! So I don't know what to do!

Thankyou!

It is just dominance behaviour while they figure out who is the boss. Am surprised you haven't seen them do it before. My boys are at it regularly throughout every day - they are 15months old and still haven't worked out which of them is dominant! In fact these days they just turn it into a game with a whole load of popcorning thrown in!

Rumblestrutting is very normal behaviour; some boars do it all the time! ;)

Thanks a lot guys! I know I can't be with my piggies all day everyday, but Id only just noticed it!

Glad too know it's normal behaviour! :)

My boys seem to rumblestrut constantly. It might be their favourite activity lol
