Rumberling

Lincoln wont stop rumberling at me! He wheeks at me from the kitchen and i go see him and when i get there he rumbles and moves side to side. He rumbles if i stroke him, pick him up or just talk to him.
His new 140 cage has just arrived and ive put him in it (OMG its huge for him) and i thought this would help and he'd be happy but his exactly the same.
why is he being so mean?

May be he's just having a bad day. Because it is now dark in the mornings and I leave the house at 6.20am for work, I have to feed the girls before I leave as OH feeds the gerbils and hamster. Anyway, whenever I open the shed door and open their hutch to feed them, they start to rumble at me. It's my day off tomorrow so they can have a lie in so hopefully will not be as grumpy on Saturday
