Thanks to joining the forum Ruby and Titch have a c and c cage and their petshop one has been confined to the garage. It was seeing everyone's photos that inspired me. Titch popcorns round downstairs and then runs upstairs squeaks very loud for some reason up there then runs back down. Ruby has yet to venture up there but I think she is alot lazier than Titch. We are all really chuffed with it.

Finally, my Daughter has uploaded some pictures for me as I can't do it. In the end I only used 3 grids across as they were 15" across, I thought they were only 12" so 4 grids would have been over 5' and I didn't have the room. They love it all the same and I love them being in it as I know they are happy. I used shavings still as I couldn't get my head round using fleece. I cleaned it today and it is really good to clean. My Husband made perspex boxes instead of correx. I hope everyone likes it.

lovely cage, sounds as if the girls agree:)). Like the sound of the perspex instead of correx, how did your husband make them? To bend perspex you need heat don't you?

Wow that's a lovely cage must say I'm very inspired to make Barnum a c&c cage. Where did you get your grids from? How did you make ramp? Sorry for all the questions but it's a lovely cage!

Hi Sharons,

Thanks, I am pleased you like it. The perspex, my Husband glued together four perspex pieces, so he didn't have to bend them. Thought it would last longer than correx and it is more robust, the whole thing is on a piece of perspex as well. Silly x.

Hi IceprincessX,

Thank you for reply. The grids I got from ebay Grendle Enterprises, they were £35.00 plus £8.00 delivery. They came next day, (if you order before 1.30pm) I still have about 10 left so I can extend it if they get alot bigger when they are older. Husband made the ramp out of mdf with 2" sides and wire tied it to the grid at the top then I wrapped fleece round it in case they nibbled it. Titch runs down put the bottom couple of inches skids a bit so I piled shavings at the bottom. Really pleased with it, thought it might look an eyesore as it is in the living room but it doesn't really and it doesn't smell like I thought it would. By the way you get wire ties with the grids as well, they are well worth buying. Silly x.
