Btw, Ruben is the name of my cousin :) Good choice!
 
Do you know how old they are Niki and have you had chance to weight them? They're really cute. The two I rescued with Gemma the other week do not stop eating or drinking. There was no sign of hay anywhere near the pigs or the buns at the house they came from and when I put hay in their cage they go mad, popcorning, burrowing, digging etc, so sweet.

Sorry for the long delay in my reply, i've been in hospital & haven't even seen ANY of my piggies since last Friday :(
I will get some more pics of Ruben & Rye & i will weigh them as i'm interested to know what they weigh.
I know they've settled in happily in their new hutch & are munching.
Hopefully i'll be well enough to go see them today & have much missed hugs ;D

Hi Kathryn,

They were born approx 5th June, the woman went away 30th may - 6th june, her mother noticed "mice" on the 5th! So she assumed 4th or 5th (bluddy mice!)
I don't think these knew what hay was either as they all went mad for it, eating a bowl full overnight & yep the same with drinking & eating.

I've just been to have a look at all my boys & had a natter, the OH's out LOL. Ruben & Rye are looking lovely, they're still timid but they've eaten the veg that was put in last night.

I'm hopefully going to weigh them this afternoon ;D

I'm doing well naming piggies after people, Angus is afer Kayjay's son & now Ruben ;D ;D
 
I've weighed them today & because Angus & Fergus are porkers i have no idea if they're underweight or not.

They were 16wks old yesterday, their weights are:
Ruben 1lb 5oz or 595g
Rye 1lb 8oz or 680g

Angus & Fergus are 10 wks tomorrow, their weights are:
Angus 1lb 7oz or 652g
Fergus 1lb 8oz or 680g

What do Hurley & Hugo weigh Kathryn?
Does anyone have piggies of a similar age, 16 wks, with their weights for me to compare against?
