Hi we are moving house and unfortunately our new garden has no grass, its only concrete. I was looking to set up a run outdoors for play time, but not sure if concrete is the best. Is rubber matting a suitable flooring? As I worry they would chew the rubber… if not what is a good alternative?

I think it would work if you covered it with a fleece blanket blanket or similar. I used to use foam mats under c&c and it is nice, warm and comfortable for lil feetsies.

I agree with both above - either one would work

On the concrete with fleece blanket laid down - which I have also done (if they arent able to go on the grass due to still being morning damp but it’s already too hot for them to stay in the shed)
; or
Foam mats - which I use full time for part of my rabbit enclosure. They have chewed a couple of exposed edges

You could use a unfolded cardboard box as a mat with something over the top, it will soak up pee and you can change it as needed
