Hi there,

Does anyone know if you can buy those rubber feet to go on the legs of my hutch. With all this rain we've been having the water is soaking right up the legs!

Or if not, have any of you got any ideas of what I can do to stop this happening. I'm not very imaginative :red

Thanks,
Louise

Probably the easiest way is to use bricks.

You can easily pick some up from builders merchants, sometimes skips, DIY shops. I'm guessing getting it won't be too easy to find snug fitting rubber caps because they would need to be a very close fit to stop the water running into the shoes.

What about wrapping the feet in some water-resistant (duct) tape? It would fit snugly and when it goes a bit manky you can cheaply and easily replace it.

Or you can use Thompsons Water Seal on the feet to provide more effective protection.

What about using rubber door stops like the ones at the start of this search.

google search RUBBER DOOR STOPS you can screw them to the legs through the center of the stop. I'm quite sure that I have seen them for sale in wilkinsons.
