Hiya! My sister Abbie wants to do that too! over here there is some rules like being experienced and being over 25 i think, so shes doing a Btec diplma in Animal Management becoming a Vetenary Nurse then working for a few years until shes old enough to try out shes wanted to do it since i can remember good luck with it x

Here you go - http://www.rspca.org.au/staffprofiles/profilelist.asp?id=12

"The desirable skills or qualifications for a prospective Inspector would include companion, native or livestock animal knowledge and handling experience and previous law enforcement experience. Any formal qualifications such as study in agricultural science, veterinary science or research in to animal welfare would be well regarded, although be prepared for the emotional effect of seeing the results of deliberate acts of cruelty to animals."

Howdy, will try to talk to you tonight, i'm flat out trying to use this new phone system and i've got a head set, look such an idiot and i'm stuffing up the calls LOL

Hi
OK look up RSPCA on google and then make sure it's for Australia.
Seen as you're in WA could you speak to your local vet or maybe your school advisor.
What year a you in?
I know there's lots of courses you can do, Dee, my daughter, was thinking at one stage of doing vet nurse
but has swayed at this stage to nurse/paramedic.
I admire your determination, but don't worry if that's not what you get into, it's sometimes hard to get into courses, remember there's always a back door to courses, believe me i've seen friends kids get into courses they thought they had no chance in and by doing something similar they were able to enter in and most of the time they were in a better position!
Sorry i don't know your name, i'm Glynis :)

Hey thanks for that I am going to try and see if i can help out at the local vets for free or whatever... I'm in year 8. Thanks alot for your help I'm jasmine by the way.

Well hi Jasmine,
So you'd be about 13-14 is that right?
My daughter is 16 and just starting year 11.
Wishing you all the best for this year, hope you like secondary schooling. What subject are you doing, cause i know you can't specialise just yet for your choice in jobs.
Great idea to help at a vets or you could even try a shelter or a pound.

Hey don't send your hot weather over if you get any we don't want it for awhile LOL

Lol it has been a bit hot over here. Yer thats right almost 14 i have to do woodwork this year :( lol.
Thanks i will try the vet and a close pound or shelter like you said.

Tanks heaps!
