More out cage time..sorry for too many pics..I can't resist..we fed them a proper meal outside, as I wasn't sure they were getting enough hard to portion it out by a mix of hand feeding and putting bits scattered..so I think everyone got a fair go..it's a nice big bowl, some pepper, cucumber, spring greens, mix lettuce, chopped celery with leaves, coriander fine sweetheart cabbage (being sparse, in case of bloaty tums) They each shared a chopped strawberry earlier..I am just concerned that they are really not interested in the burgess or harringtons pellets mix at the moment..a great wad of timothy hay is constantly being consumed..and they munch on the meadow hay we put down also..I really don't think they are eating too much veggies, we are cautious about that..Anyone have any thoughts? This pic is from poo picking time..My daughter usually does this, but I had the pleasure three times today, while she is at her summer pre college art course..I don't mind.I am not that agile to reach and I am 5ft..i end up sitting in the cage! They all got cuddles from both of us..Roz actually let my daughter pick her up after a pet..so Freya who we think is the ultimate queen now, has taught Roz that being petted by slaves is fine..Twitch has become vocal but shyer but had a nice calm petting sesh before she wanted to join the others..I think the group are going to be successful..occasional rumblings, Roz actually popcorns with excitement when lady Freya rumblestruts..it is not escalating..no bum biting and no violent posturing, I was a bit worried for Twitch as she occasionally gets double rumbles going past her, as Roz and Freya sort it out..very mild.. surely this might stress her out?
