I have had Athena for about 3 weeks and the other day i noticed there is a small round balding spot under her chin. I took her to the vet today and they said it was an abscess and gave me antibiotics and a topic for itching. This was before I got home and noticed this huge balding spot behind her ear (which the vet did not see). From what I have read it looks like it could be ringworm. I’ve also read that bald spots behind the ear is normal but this one is scabby and crusty? I was given a topical cream for itching but i’m still very concerned.

Piggies do have symmetrical bald spots behind each ear but they are just normal skin. Any crust could signify ringworm.
I would suggest you return to the vet (or a different vet) to have it checked again. Using creams to treat ringworm is not effective as the spores cover a wider area than you would apply the cream (and therefore without full systemic treatment the spores still shed and cause re infection) . This guide explains the full treatment and hygiene measures which need to be taken to deal with ringworm properly.
