Hi all, I have rose whom I’ve not even had two weeks yet, having an X-ray, she was fine this morning so I thought, I looked at her not long ago and she had her head hiding in a corner and didn’t respond to me calling her, she was flat and flopping to one side, my heart sank and immediately rang the vets, brought her straight here, I’ll keep you posted but they think it’s her ovaries, I’m gutted

Me too, she was moving about ok when I got up, wanting her breakfast like the other 7, I’m shocked poor girl, she such a friendly pig

Well guys I’m sorry but it’s not good news, my little girl is going to the rainbow she had big masses on either side and was in pain, I can’t see my girl be in pain anymore she’s suffered enough, god knows how long she’s had these masses as she never went to a vet before I got her not even two weeks ago, heartbroken gutted

I am so so sorry that help for Rose has come too late. It can well be that her swellings have been the reason why she was looking for a new home. It wouldn't be the first time that previous owners have not not been diclosing the real reason for getting rid of a pet. Poor, poor girl!

You may not have been able to give Rose the happy life you wanted to give her but you can at least give her the gentle and kind death she deserves; that is as loving and important a gift when the first is no longer an option.

I bonded rose with Maisie, Maisie didn’t really get the opportunity to really bond with rose which is really sad but Maisie is now alone so bonding her with the two piggies she was with before we got rose. Such an emotional day with pain. Rose will never be forgotten

It doesn’t matter how long you have them, a piggy creates space in your heart and moves in very fast.

Thank you it’s been a rough day, it all happened so quickly my head is mashed and still got sore eyes from crying, tears rolling again. Poor Rose must have been suffering for ages unaware of her previous owner and myself, I know I made the right choice for my girl as just couldn’t see her suffering anymore, get her ashes back in a few weeks, the bridge will love her cheeky character
