Hi,
I have three guinea pigs and I'm getting a new larger cage for Christmas. The cage is a c&c cage it's 6x2 (217x72cm) I was just curious how many guinea pigs could have in there? I'm not planning on getting anyore guinea pigs I'm just curious.
Thankyou

People usually recommend 120x60cm for 2, so although yours is a longer shape I should think 3 would be fine in there :3

I have two sows in a 5x2 C&C cage. When I add Snowy (in several months) do I need to upgrade or is there enough room for 3?

URK! The c&c cage website said 2-4 piggies in a 5x2. Is this correct?

Gosh, I didn't think that the cage could be too small!

I think generally the recommendation is 2 in a 2x4, then you add one to the length for every pig added. So 2x5 for 3, 2x6 for 4 etc.
Obviously more space is better so those are just minimum sizes.

Hmmm, perhaps I could think of expansion...that's the beauty of C&C. You just add to it. Time to research grids and connectors...*wanders off for a bit, absently muttering*
