I’ve just got the pigs out and Edward rolled on to his back as I put him down and it took him 2-3 seconds to right himself 😞 He’s 5 and a half. Could he have just fallen over as I put him down? Should I be concerned? They’re at the vets for nail trims next Tuesday, should I mention it to the vet?

Mine do that occasionally too @Claire W. Its as if they lose their balance for a few seconds. My piggies are around the same age as Edward and they are fine after. If you are at all concerned about him, mention it to the vet.

Hi!

It can happen that especially older piggies unbalance and no longer have quite the flexibility to right themselves again. As long as he can still right himself, he should be fine.
