Well, Rocket's in with the girls. His ears have pretty much cleared up ( he's just on Septrin for another week to make sure the infection is gone for good) and Vicki said he's okay to go in with them so I put them all outside in the run together when we got home. I've been beavering away on their new house but it isn't quite finished so modifed the two old ones to be one big cage that's different and ( hopefully) neutral ground for them until the new one is finished ( today or tomorrow) because after an initial mounting and "gerrof" session they seemed to settle down together in the run so I didn't want to seperate them.
At the moment Moonpig is being her usual stoic self and completely ignoring the other two's shenanigans, she knows she's top pig and they know she's top pig. I think the main problem is that they're both used to being number 2 pig and neither of them wants to be number 3 pig. mallethead
Livvy Lou keeps following Rocket around periodically with a constant worried/excited wibble and the minute he pays her any attention she has a complete fit whereupon he decides he's had enough and gets as far away from her as possible.
They'e all eating together thankfully and Moonpig is happy to share a haybox with either of the other two but they won't share any space with each other. When they were in cages next to each other Livvy Lou was very friendly with Rocket and would lie next to him all of the time so I think the poor boy is more than a little confused at the moment, of course if he'd stop rumble strutting for two seconds when she's around him she might calm down!
Does this sound fairly normal? I've only ever had to deal with bonding between sow pairs and boar pairs before not a threesome. @)
