Huurrmph!

So, for the past week all I've been hearing is a low pitched purr from my girl Hermione, she tries to mount Edd (Girl to) but fails as Edd is a bit nippy. Is she on heat or is it a dominance thing?

This may sound stupid but Edd is on pregnancy watch atm and I have a feeling that Hermione is sensing it? Gosh that sounds crazy, I hope someone understands lol!

There's no fighting apart from when Hermione tried to enter 'Edd's Hay Bar' Edd nips at her and rumbles and chases her away.

Could Edd be telling her to back off I need my babies!?

Most guinea pigs can sense each other's moods. I'm pretty Your girl can sense pregnancy. It is even heard of for other piggies to be a bit more frisky when another is pregnant. It could also have something to do with dominance.

Monitor them closely and if things worsen, separation will be needed. It would be good to stress your piggie if she is pregnant.

I thought I'd add in that Edd doesn't seem stressed about her doing it, infact she lazes about most of the time and just shoo's her away. If she shown signs of distress I would separate them until sorted : )
