so recently my guinea had torn his nail off, and I went to the vet for it. Was prescribed Chlor-a-clens. I was wondering exactly how I would apply it onto his wound? A drop directly on the nail, or get a tissue, dip it in the cleanser and press it against the nail? I’m not sure how I would clean it thoroughly.

Any advice?

I am not sure what that is.

is it still bleeding where the nail was or has it stopped?

it stopped. And it’s antiseptic! He has a slight infection, nothing major so he was given Chlor-a-Clens

Ouch! Maybe try a cotton bud. It might soak into a tissue too much to apply successfully.
