Sadly we had to send Carwyn on to the Rainbow Bridge yesterday after a short illness when the vet confirmed my own worst fears. 
Carwyn 'Blessed Love' was one of my most vocal and biggest characters with a very expressive face and with his mutilated lip giving him an unique charm. We are all going to miss him sorely, but especially his beloved Heini!
After 3 years in a foot square bare neglect breeders box (that is basically the size of a large hidey), he has grasped life with all four paws and firmly plonked himself on the softest spots, even if it meant a long journey from Tyneside based North East Guinea Pig Rescue to the UK Midlands.

After looking after frail 7 years old Ffraid in the last weks of her life, it was love at first sniff with tiny wifelet Heini, who had to teach him how to run and popcorn.
They have shared an enduring love and beyond all his other liquorice allsorts wives and have stayed very close throughout the 3 1/2 years of happiness that I have been able to give him.
I am grateful that he has been able to reach the very good age of 6 1/2 years, which has sadly been denied the rest of his family. Carwyn has been a true blessing in my life; his antics have cheered me through some tough times.
