Hi,

I am a new piggie parent, we’ve had our girls just under two weeks. They’re settling in, not overly keen on contact yet but we’re taking it slow!

We noticed early on that one had something near her eye but this seemed to improve (was hard to get close to take a picture or look properly) but the other one seems to have developed something near her nose and eye. I’ve attached pics if anyone can help? I have googled and wondering about ringworm? Will obviously call vets but just thought I would post here in the meantime.

Thank you!

Hi and welcome

Please see a vet promptly in order to be able to reclaim any vet cost arising from having basically bought damaged ware; by next week you may be too late. Please do not home treat on spec before seeing a vet since you are making a diagnosis very difficult; it is like wiping a crime scene, as far as your vet is concerned. It is better to step in with the appropriate treatment right from the start.
Please accept that we can have our suspicions but that we cannot realiably diagnose just from a picture, nor are we qualified to to do so.
