Carlton has been to the vet twice. 2.5 months ago I took him to get his nails trimmed, and a week later he developed a spot on his nose and a couple on his belly. They gave me Miconahex+Triz wipes. It healed his belly almost immediately. I used it for 2 weeks (as directed). It looked like it was working on his nose as welll, then about a week or 2 after I stopped using the wipes, it returned on his nose. Cage was thoroughly cleaned multiple times. I read it could take longer than 2 weeks, so I used the wipes again. After a few weeks, it looked like it was starting to irritate his nose and I noticed a line on his back of missing hair. I took him back to the vet. She gave him Terbinafine and said the missing hair may be something he is allergic to. I stopped giving him the new treats I had just bought. It got worse. Then I bought new hay in case that bag was bad....but now there are actual scabs on his skin where there's missing hair. I have no idea what to do. He has been on the oral meds for 1 week. His nose looks like it may be getting slightly better, but he keeps losing hair. I will bring him back to the vet again but I don't think they have any idea what's wrong with him. She didn't even give me anything for his itching (if they even have that). Is anyone familiar or have suggestions of what else I could try while waiting a week for his vet appt?

Ringworm: Hygiene, Care And Pictures

I've linked in the forum ringworm guide. I hope your poor boy feels better soon. I wonder if seeing a different vet would help for a second opinion?
I was wondering about taking him someplace else as well. The other vet is just so far away :( I will take a look at that link. Thank you

Poor piggy 😔
We had a pig here at the rescue called Fable. She had something very similar all over her belly, it turned out to be a bacterial issue and cleared with antibiotics. Might be worth a mention to your vet?
