Ringo needs help

go to chitchat to read about ringo's life....you'll understand then....
I need help trying to get ringo to trust people to hold her. when you hold her, she kicks and kicks and kicks and tries to jump off your hands... it would be much easier to hold her if her nails were shorter but they are quite large(will be cutting tomorrow( any tips how to handle her and get her familier with handling...
 
Twinkle was like this for ages. I find the best way is to stroke them first and then pick them up. However some people use a big bowl to scoop them up in if they are really frightened (I did this with Twinks) or use a towel. It's not ideal but she will come around. It's natural for them to be frightened she just needs to learn to trust you. x
 
I find if you sit beside their cage talking to them (sounds bit crazy I know) then feeding them small bits of veg and grass by making them come to the front of the cage near you, they eventually become more tame. I have been doing this with one of mine and he is becoming easier to handle :)
