Its been while since I've posted, so to get you up to speed. I purchased two sows in January from P&H one unfortunately was pregnant resulting in two babies in March one of each sex. Up until this weekend the boar had been separated, he is now 6 weeks post op and we've tried to introduce but not with much success.

We've had chunks of fur pulled out fortunately without any skin damage lots of charging around the cage and several standoffs resulting in my daughter having blood drawn trying to separate. We've connected two cages with a bridge between and wondered if the mistake has been existing territory causing conflict, the sows cage and his. The boar is happy to travel between cages the sows stay in their own territory.

Not sure where to go from here. Is it just a case of they really will not get on or should we persevere It's been two days, and I know each time we separate we are escalating the problem making them start all over again. But I don't trust them to be left over night.

The relationship. Is two sisters, one of which had a daughter and a son.

Pumpkin is the son
Squeak is his mother
Piglet the sister
Bubble aunty

Bubble and Squeak the original pair and very close.
Piglet always seems to be a loner
Pumpkin is just deeply frustrated.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Think if I'd spent sometime reading up on advice on here first, I'd have introduced them in the playpen rather that their cages. Is it too late to start again?
Is tomorrow too soon, or should I give it a week?

Annoyed with myself :hb:

don't blame your self, you have had a lot to deal with,
if l were you l would keep them in a cage with a devide down the midle
and try them again in a week or so :tu:
