I have a 6 month old guinea pig (female) that is healthy in size, intake of water, pellets and veggies is normal and she is still active with toys etc. Today she sounds stuffy/almost kind of a rattle type breathing off and on, but she is still eating and playing normally. Should I be concerned? I am trying to find an exotic pet vet locally but what can I do in the meantime? Thank you in advance.

My Edward was a bit stuffy last Thursday. I was advised that he could have had something stuck up his nose such as hay dust or it could be pollen affecting him. He was fine the following day and is still fine almost a week later. I'd keep a close eye on her for the rest of the day and have her vet checked if the snuffling persists. Have her seen as an emergency if her behaviour changes or her symptoms worsen
