ParadoxOwl
New Born Pup
Ok, so, April 30th I see on a Lost and Found Animal Facebook page, that somebody tossed 2 furry potatoes out into the woods! This was near the road, a river, and was COLD! (We feel the poster was the dumper as they were in a really obscure area)
My friend went out and got them. They were cold, had nails that curled around to their pads, and were hungry, but, no fleas, ticks, or mites.
I received these little furry potatoes unaware of size or gender, so I got them a rabbit starter cage. Way to small as these are both, very clearly, male. I took them to the vet, got them weighed (3 pounds each), nails trimmed, and basic health check. They are all good.
We named the Officer Piccadilly and Captain Pancake.
I have bought and received my new CC cage (10.5 sq feet as that's all I have room for) and they seem happy.
Now my problem is with Officer Piccadilly mounting Captain Pancakes head, Captain Pancake wheeks when my fiance touches him, and ever since we got the new cage and put in a hut Officer Piccadilly clicks his teeth at my Fiance.
We walk slow, talk soft, and offer treats (lettuce, sweet potatoes, hay everyday) to show them nice things happen, and even pet them super soft for a few seconds every day. I last owned a furry potato over 7 years ago and it was only one male.
Any advice is appreciated
