My Husband has requested that I ask what it means when we stroke our new piggy and he makes a noise which sounds like the Predator?!? Lol!

Whenever we stroke Ronnie's back or bum he makes this noise & it's soo funny!
 
Is it the brrrrrrrr noise? And he shakes? (piggy not hubby :(|) )

Mine make that when we rattle keys, or drop something indoors, I think they are just a little annoyed when we do it! If it's more what I call a squiggle noise (very low soft squeaks) they love being stroked. My baby girly makes this the minute you pick her up rolleyes

I would say it's a "mind out that tickles!" rather than a cross sound lol :))
 
My Bumble boar makes this noise when you stroke his back - he also makes it when he can smell my females,then he starts dragging his balls along the carpet!(dont tell hubby,he might worry that he will do it to him lol ):))
 
If it is a brr noise it means you are doing something your piggy does not like.
 
Lol at some of the replies. He doesn't seem annoyed when we stroke him but the noise is funny I will gave to try and record it x

I have a guinea that makes the brrrrr sound whenever you touch her, she never seems annoyed though - infact she ends up laying flat on the floor and complains when you stop stroking her!
 
i've recommended this before to people asking about sounds, if you have an iPhone or iPod touch, (unsure if it comes on any other android phone but it might) you can search for "Guineapedia" in the app store and theres a great little app, gives a few veggie suggestions etc. but also has a sound feature, where you can play short clips of each sound and it explains what they mean :)

All my pigs make that noise when i stroke them, it's like purring!

Yoshi does a pleasurable brrrr sound. Peter Gurney reckoned there's an amourous purr and a growling one - you can usually tell the difference. Yoshi spreads himself out, kicks out his back legs ( major chookie legs! ) and licks my hand. I don't think he'd hang around if he wasn't enjoying it, he's the first one to dash and hide in a snuggle role if he's not happy! :(|)
 
I installed Guineapedia on my Iphone but whenever I click on the icon it just takes me back to my homepage!
No idea why it wont work x
