Hello all,

Just wondering if anyone else uses a baby or pet monitor to watch their piggies while they're out or at work? I am starting a new job after around 2 months at home where I am around the pigs all day really. However they only just moved into the living room around a month ago, before this they were in a shed/outdoors/in a less well used room indoors. But I still feel bad they'd be on their own, even though they've now got more space than ever and also live as a four instead of two pairs! Maybe I am just helicopter piggie parenting...

Here is the link to one which I believe us good and used in the dog and rabbit monitoring world!

@Jaycey that looks fantastic! Unfortunately I think that particular model is a little out of my price range at the moment and I have heard good things about this Cleverdog one so fingers crossed! I have asked for one for my birthday, in 8 days time...

@PiggyOwner I'm not sure how much work I would get done either! Haha, but I'd love to check on them when I'm not there. The one I'm hoping to get allows you to speak to them too, which they probably don't care about since it can't feed them too!

There's an app called Manything. You need two phones though that you can log into the same App Store with I.e 2 iPhones logged into the same iTunes account. Download the app on both phones, set one up as a camera in your pigs room then just click on the app on the phone you use whilst at work and you can watch them live! You can also set it to send you notifications when there's any movement in a certain area of the cage. I used this when I had a bereaved sow and she was pining, to give me peace of mind that she was leaving her hidey and eating and drinking when I wasn't at home X
