Is this the same race that's coming to us? in Perth i think O0

Have seen it on tv those guys are nuts, but it's awesome to watch :o :o :o
 
I totally love watching that,I saw it in Berlin the other year and was OMFG ( seeing as I'm a saddo anorak plane spotter,lmao)
 
I saw it on holiday in San Franciso last year and LOVED it

I love anything to do with planes really but acrobatics are the best. The race itself only lasts an hour or so but its a full day of airshows and displays :)
 
I just dread them crashing in front of me :(

I need to go to an Air Show this year,maybe at RAF Waddington again,I'm in withdrawl and its about time I saw some planes,lol

Sars and I had a VIP tour around RAF Coningsby years ago as she knew someone there and ive drooled over them for years but that just did it for me,I also go visit Donna Nook near Skegness and watch the F-16's practice their bombing runs etc,Sars and I were lucky enough to get shown around the control tower when we were there and to see and hear the planes roar past the tower was more or less orgasmic(sorry),The guy in command gave her a personally drawn picture of some A10 Tankbusters saigned by the pilots,Ive got some paintings here at home signed by John Nichol and Jon Peters who were captured in the Gulf war,theyre my pride and joy..
 
I won tickets in 2005 I think at Longleat & it was AMAZING. My dad is a pilot & I do have a plane fascination too, but anyone who isn't slightly interested will be blown away by it. I've got a great picture of it that I'll put up when I'm on my own computer later.

I think the thought of being in a control tower hearing planes roaring past has just made me do a little wee :embarassed:
 
we've got the red arrows over here in sept for a display, we often get quite a few displays over here on the Isle of wight or from Portsmouth area, we have an air race every year the schneider trophy race round the Island but 2 planes have crashed since its been going and we went to the VE day memorial at Sandown airfield and the men jumped out of the plane and one didn't open, my worst nightmare, :o he struggled and eventually his reserve opened I felt like throwing up it freaked me out so much :~D

ugh i hate that name Schneider ( sorry bad memories,lol)

I think id def panic if i was you seeing someone jump out like that
