Recommended size for guinea pig

I was wondering what the recommended size for a guinea pig is. I am getting one tomorrow and was wondering what size cage I should look for. |)

The minimum for a pair is a 3x2 CC cage or a ferplast 120cm but bigger is always better!

Please get two guinea pigs rather than one :-) they are herd animals and like living with their own kind

well i have a trio of piggies and its so much better to see all different personalities
and for three is 1.2sp but all together with my cage is 1.4sq heheh which in centimeters 76*157
so yeah get two and watch just how different they are

For a pair of guinea pigs the rspca guidelines for a cage 4x2 Guinea pigs need to live in pairs as they're sociable animals, as we've learnt the difference between having one lonely pig to having two!
