I'm planning on getting my boys a new hutch in the springtime once this cold winter is out the way (so obviously not yet). I want to buy them a 5 or 6ft hutch for them. I just wondered if anyone recommends or has one that they find really good? Any advise would be fab.

I just bought a 5ft double from eBay for £90 , it came flatpacked and was easy to setup and the qualitys good.

We had a new hutch in the summer from RE Hutches. They're
expensive, but well worth it!

We went for a double with 'loft', so a triple really. They love the upper most loft level and often all six will sit up there together. It weighs a solid ton though ( there's no ply back boards!) and I'm pretty sure it'll still be up and strong in 10 years!

The guy was really pleasant to deal with and extended the ramps for me at no charge. I would only buy one of his hutches now :)

This is my 8ft double hutch (the 6ft double can also be seen in the background!), it can be used as two hutches or each layer can be split with a mesh divider to make 4. It's made of basically solid wood, no plywood in sight, it's ridiculously heavy. It was custom made by a very helpful guy in Worksop that another TGPF member told me about. Cost £190 plus a delivery fee which I think it great value given the effort and skill that went into making it. He will basically do anything you ask for, any measurements etc. The piggies absolutely love it, I have the top split into two for my boys and then a few of my girls have the bottom as just open space.

If you'd like his details at all send me a PM and I will pass you his phone number and email.
