I have come across this on the internet
dev/null:grendle.co.uk/web/index.php?route=product/category&path=78_64
would something like this be suitable for a guinea pig?

In short yes they are brilliant. They are known as a c and c cage and are great as they are so adaptable. Here is our gallery of c and c cages to give you an idea of how flexible they can be.

You can also buy the grids and base separate, I got mine from wayfair.co.uk and the correx from a sign manufacturer distributer
.

If you haven't got your pigs yet please get 2of the same sex, piggies need company of their own kind. If you go to a rescue you can find an already bonded pair. For 2 pigs you will need a 4x2 cage, 3 a 5x2 and 4 a 6x2.
Hope that helps

that website I said is best price I can find and it's just easier with all the cage designs they already have, the correx I can get from the local sign maker company

There are lots of sites that sell c&c, I have used a few and have been very pleased by the service received. Lots of members struggle to get Correx and once you factor in the prices for buying corex on top they are not too different i don't think form what I have seen.

Welcome to the forum by the way :) Noticed you'd just joined. How many piggies do you have? Boys or girls?

Hope you enjoy the forum, any questions please ask :)

This is where I got my grids from. You get 20 in a pack for 31pound. This is enough to do a 8x2 one level cage, or you can do smaller cage and add a loft level/ higher sides at strategic points.
Should add... If you have costco membership they have been selling the grids v cheap, about 18pound for 30. Welcome to the forum by the way, look forward to seeing pictures of your girls

i got my grids from wayfair.co.uk and sourced my own correx. A 3x2 is adequate for 2 guinea pigs and is larger than 120cm commercial cages :-)
