I've been building coroplast ramps for my piggies but they're just so fat that it tends to bend very quickly! Plus Tinsel tens to belly flop it to go up -_-' The newest one barely lasted half the time my last one did!
So I want to get a wooden one which would be good to grind down teeth would be good! Any vouch for these?

It says it is kiln dried pine is that safe for piggies? I might buy a shelf to go with it but that might get bit messy xD I think it is long enough too nearly 50cm or so, I have a 120m cage that I've built second level on myself for hay and such and a place for them to take 5 from each other. Need a new asap as they're sharing bottom floor now haha

Wooden ones do tend to get soaked in pee,as when my lot had a ramp a year ago (they are now all in an open plan floor pen taking up a third of the lounge) they all liked to sleep on it - my brother also glued some sides on so they didn't fall off - the wooden ramp came with the cage though.

I'd have deal with the mess unfortunately :( So I have to go with whats safest every time they were using it I could see it bend so steep I was worried about their backs :( Been tied up for now so it's out of use :/ I was thinking about side panels but when I built the coroplast one they would just flatten it anyways :L Can't have nothing nice haha

Bend some grids to use as ramps. You'll have part of the grid as a floor, and part of it as the side.

Look in the photo gallery on guineapigcages.com. There are lots of ideas for ramps.

What about gluing something underneath the ramp to strengthen it like a strip of would or metal.

One grid would be too steep and two wouldn't fit in the cage I don't want to cut it in case they poke them selves on it haha And thanks for the website :)

I want to get away from using coroplast as they bit through it like it's butter :/ So I might as well have a wooden one cause at least then it will grind down their teeth I just want to know if the wood used on the ramp on ebay I'm looking at is safe to use Thank though for advice!

It sounds like it is from the description you have given but I can't see a picture or a link. Just a big blank space between your two paragraphs.

Hmm thats strange :S it has come up for me, has this worked?
It's the 18x6 inch one though

Must be because I'm on iPad and not on pc but it still isn't working for me

Two grids won't fit? How big is your cage? Normally it's a good size if the loft is up one grid high off the main floor.

You can overlap the grids to make the ramp shorter.

I would prefer a wooden ramp as I'd be worried about their feet going through as they find ways to get in to all sorts of trouble. My cage isn't a c&c cage so the second level is a bit lower than a cc loft would be, but the size is fine, I think I'd find it hard to bend them too :/

Actually, bent grid ramps don't have holes in them. The ramp is lined with coroplast, then lined with something to provide traction. I know my pigs won't use something that's not soft on their feet, they never used wooden ramp.

Wooden ramp should be ok if yours will use them. Just don't expect them to help with teeth. The only thing to properly grid down teeth is unlimited amount of hay.

See I'm trying to get away from the use of coroplast all together, I have been using coroplast ramps I've built with fleece lined on it but they always bite through and eventually it loses the ability to hold their weight. And I've found in one of my pigs even having unlimited amount of hay has still had to have his teeth trimmed recently. I do reckon the best plan for my pigs is to go with a wooden ramp and I've found that the one I'm looking at is safe from another thread on the forum, so I shall see how that goes. Thanks for the advice :)
