Recent Behavioral Changes

Hello

Recently my guinea pig Percy has became aggressive. He won't let me pick him out of his cage and whenever I have him out he bites. Also, now when I try to stroke him he kicks and bites. Has anyone else had this problem and if so is there anything I can do? He never used to be like this.

How is Percy and how long have you had him?

Depending on that, it can be that he has either just hit the teenage months between 4-14 months old or he has unwound enough to tell that he doesn't like being handled. https://www.theguineapigforum.co.uk...stincts-and-speak-piggy-body-language.117031/

However, it is also often a sign for the onset of mange mites, so I would recommend to have him checked for that. Percy was bought in late December. He seems fine, he's eating and drinking well and he goes outside regularly to play with my outdoor piggies. Thanks for your advice
