I have a couple to throw in here. 1. Strumming the bars - Biscuit likes to pick up her toys and strum them against the bars for a while and squeeking her head off. Very cute but like she's playing a wee tune to herself. But could she be bored? Their feeding times are always consistent and she gets plenty running space as she can walk in outta the cage and about the room. Plenty gnaws and toys too. 2.Twix runs in circles every night and every morning and when her bed goes in the cage in the evening she does laps and hops on the roof before she goes to bed. Ive even seen Biscuit join in, thats particularly odd because one does a lap and touches noses with the other who then runs and does a lap and so on. Its insane! lol I'd love to know what they're thinking! any ideas? or any other piggies got weird habbits?

Sounds like a very lovely batch of boisterous youngsters who love popcorning and playing with each other.

Good to hear! :) they are great! Cracks me up watching them! so full of energgy and mischief! Its why i love guinea pigs! :) what's popcorning?

Popcorning is jumping like mad; each piggy has their own style. Many piggies combine with zoomies - running like mad in circles or up and down a long room. They usually end their leg with dodgems with their mates. :)

Oh thats what there up to! I just thought they were nuts! Twix goes that mental she starts rolling about i was horrified the first time she did it! I thought she was epilectic or something! Lol well that explains it! You learn something new everyday! :D so is that them just having fun then?

Haha! i thought it was maybe hissy fits coz they normally do it when i tickle their bellies! :D hehe!

My two boys Buddy and Diesel are over 3 years old and they still go bananas when they go into playpen in the morning. Buddy does a good imitation of a bucking bronco, they are just so much fun to watch!

They are wonderful pets to have! always cheer you up! :) Always happy, bouncing and squeeking away!

So cute! LOL! Mine used to chase each other and run laps and touch noses when they were babies too! And popcorning is really common, especially for youngsters. It's less frequent when they are older, but even my almost-6-year-old pig will still popcorn occasionally when she's excited! Enjoy their antics!

lol i just dunno where they get the energy from! It's non-stop popcorning with Twix. Biscuit is a little more chilled tho! but VERY noisy! :) likes all the attention! :)

Oh one one of my babys runs round n round they all popcorn the other 2 dont seem to do that much at all alk 3are 4 wks old now x

Aww bless! They'll be so tiny! :) yeah my pair are very active and noisy! i leave tge cage open so they scurry about! they're so funny dashing about the floor! and if you have any food they start circuling andsitting on your feet! they even pester my guests! lol they're ballsy wee things!

Aww they are so cute tho with having to cats in houes they only run round in living room 3times a day x

Yeah we've got a dog. He's great with them but i still cant trust leaving him alone with them. better safe than sorry! :)

Haha! just reminded me of a funny memory there... when i was little i had a cat, Po and 2 pigs, Mopsy and Flopsy. The cat would cuddle up with them but kept putting her tail over their faces and tickling their noses til they started popcorning! :) So they outsmarted her and starting sleeping on her tail instead! :D

Amazing how the personalities in each pig are SO different, isn't it? My newest pig, Murphy, who I got at 2 months of age, has a decided sense of humor and loves to play with me. He's now free-range in my bedroom with 2 buddies and I'll "chase" him with my hand on the floor, he runs under my bed; then he comes out and chases after my hand. Another thing he recently did, which had me laughing for several minutes - I was getting ready to take a shower and was in my underwear when sat on the floor for a minute to fix someone at one of the pig cages; well! Murphy came up behind me, grabbed the elastic on my underwear, pulled it as far as he could, let go, and then ran under the bed! I looked and there he was, peeping out at me; Little stinker was trying to give me a "wedgie?" Can life with piggies ever be dull?

Lmao! Fantastic story! Murphy sounds like a lovely pig! :D and yeah i agree! I just love them they always have me laughing! lol My two are like opposites! Biscuit just wants sleep, food and cuddles and Twix is just always up to mischief! lol i made little capes for them one halloween and ever since that night Twix has it in her head that she can fly and keeps jumping off the sofa! lol :D they do say they are relayed to lemmings! haha!

Oh, Biscuit and Twix sound SO cute; I've noticed that with my "paired pigs," as well, one seems to be more outgoing and one more laid-back.

Thank you! They certainly are! Love those piggies to bits! :D and yours sound adorable too! Still giggling at the wedgie! Cheeky ! lol and yeah i had pigs as a kid too and it was the same with them! :)
